I began my teaching career in 2012 in my home state of Louisiana with my initial certification being in Health and Physical Education. I received my Bachelors Degree in General Studies from Northwestern State University in 2001. I completed the teacher certification program at Louisiana College in 2014 and I am pursuing a Masters Degree in SPED that will be completed in 2021. I am married to MGM Defensive Coordinator, Jared Parten, and we stay busy with five kids! We enjoy football games, watching our kids play sports and perform in theatre, visiting with our families and friends, watching movies and staying active!
