I began teaching in the fall of 2012 in central Mississippi. I started in inclusion for U.S. History then moved to middle school Language Arts for two years before teaching Social Studies and Science the year before we moved to Mobile. Last year was my first year to move to high school English and ACT PREP. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Pre Law from Belhaven University. I earned my Teaching Certificate through the Masters of Arts in Teaching program from Mississippi State University. I am the mom of three amazing kids. My favorite thing to do if I’m not watching my boy play football or soccer or my daughter play soccer or listen to either of my girls sing is sit in the sand and listen to the waves on the beach!!!
