MGM Cross Country

Any Student who wants to run Cross Country for 2023 season please read below for the info you need to become eligible.  All students must complete Dragonflymax.com.  You cannot participate until everything is complete and the circle is green in Dragonfly.   Please check the forms above for Dragonfly and Sportsmanship.  Please email Coach Spriggs is you are interested in running.  

Cross Country is a highly motivated distance running sport. The students run 5k races. The students enjoy running in the woods and trails. The Cross Country Season starts in Aug.1 and ends in Nov. 5th.

To run Cross Country, every student must have passed 4 core classes and 2 electives and have an overall 70 average in grades.

The Parent must go and register their child on to Dragonflymax.com. You can print out the form under forms. If you are a MGM High School student please print out the High school Dragonfly form and follow directions. If you are a Semmes Middle school student please print out the Middle School form and follow directions. All the forms in DragonFly must be filled out and complete before you can compete and train in the AHSAA.  The three forms you will need to upload to Dragonfly are updated physical, sportsmanship, and birth certificate.  All other forms are in Dragonfly as well as insurance.

1. Updated Physical

2. Concussion Form

3. AHSAA Waiver Form

4. Mobile County Waiver/Insurance Form

5. Mobile County Drug Waiver Form

6. NFHS Star Sportsmanship Test  (Take test on NFHSlearn.com/ Print form for directions)

7. Birth Certificate

8. Insurance

Everything must be filled out in DragonFlymax.com before you can run and start training.
