Congratulations to our students in the Academy of IT-Computer Science. We had a team place 2nd in the Lieutenant Governor's Cup. The Lieutenant Governor’s Cup is a Capture The Flag (CTF) event for Alabama students ages 13+ that encourages students to use critical thinking skills and teamwork to solve cybersecurity problems. Challenges cover a variety of topics including network security, ciphers, python, ethics, risks ,adversarial thinking, and more. Recognizing the need to create long-lasting, high-paying, 21st-centuryjobs in Alabama, Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth championed the event as a means to identify and cultivate the next generation of cybersecurity professionals across the state.

MCPSS will be hosting a digital safety event April 29th @ 9am and 6pm for those interested in attending. The event will take place in the Cypress Auditorium on the central office campus.

Please join the band for their Spring concert May 1st 6.30pm
