Students will report to homeroom (OFS) first.
Homeroom lists are printed in the hallway both upstairs and downstairs.
Check the website for our uniform policy. It will be enforced.
Hoodies will NOT be allowed in the building.
Clear bookbags ONLY.
Purses are not allowed. A small clutch that stays in the bookbag may be used for personal hygiene products, and it will be searched.
Lunch boxes will be searched.
In accordance with the Focus Act, personal devices are not allowed. Check our website for details.
We understand that some of the new rules may feel strict at first, but they are designed with one goal in mind: to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every student. When students feel secure and know what to expect, they’re better able to focus on learning, building friendships, and enjoying their high school experience. Our commitment is to help every student thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally—and these guidelines are a key part of making that happen.

Julia Panchenko, a senior at Davidson and four-year Warrior Varsity Bowling athlete, just made waves at the Junior Gold National Championships! 🌟 Out of 562 girls in the U18 division, Julia placed 41st — the only competitor from Alabama to advance in her division and one of just 4 from the entire state to reach the final advancers round out of 3,100+ youth bowlers nationwide.
Way to represent, Julia! 👏💪

Several Davidson High School teachers had the opportunity to engage in professional learning with Dr. Robert Marzano at the Marzano Mastery Approaches Institute this week. They dove into designing instruction aligned with mastery-based learning, developing high-quality proficiency scales, increasing student ownership of learning, and implementing strategies to enhance student efficacy.
