Bio

I received my bachelor's degree in Political Science & Pre-Law from Spring Hill College in 2013. I received my master's degree in teaching with a concentration in social studies in 2020 from Spring Hill College. I am a 2009 graduate of Murphy High School and a 2013 and 2020 graduate of Spring Hill College. I grew up in Whistler and have lived in Mobile my entire life. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching degree with a concentration in general social science. Previously, I have worked as a tutor at Vigor High School and Spencer-Westlawn Elementary. In addition, I have worked as a behavior trainer at the Continuous Learning Center and Pathway Elementary. Outside of education, I have also worked in retail, with a law firm, and in a college student financial services setting. Most recently before coming to MGM, I worked at a local private school teaching 7th-12th grade social studies. I accepted my full-time teaching position at MGM in February 2021. I view my position as a teacher not just as a job, but a calling to which I am fully dedicated and take seriously. I am here for the growth and success of my students both academically and personally. When I'm not at school, I enjoy going to the movies, trying new restaurants, traveling, music at my church, and spending time my with family and friends.
