Bio

I began teaching in 2016 at Oak Grove Middle, as the assistant Director of Show Choir and Choir, with over 75 young men and women on our National Award- Winning Show Choir. I moved to Mobile, AL in 2018, as the Director of Theatre for Mary G Montgomery High School. Throughout my years at MGM, our competition team has won numerous awards for our One Acts- such as Best in Show, Best Costumes, and Best Ensemble, as well as several State title holders in individual theatrical events. Our seasons contain one fall one act performance, several student directed showcases, technical theatre presentations, and a Spring musical. I received my BFA in Acting from the University of Southern MS in 2015. I also hold an Irene Ryan Acting Award through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for several college productions. I am a stepmom to two amazing boys, and I love being a part of the local theatre community in Mobile! You can usually catch me helping out at Joe Jefferson Playhouse or The Studio in Daphne, but I also love continuing to hone my craft of what I teach my students. I continue to audition for film work and rep theaters in the area during the summer, so I am still a working actor! If I am not acting, I love running, designing digital art, gardening, and various DIY projects around my house!
