I began teaching in 2016. I received a Bachelor's degree in English in 2007 and a Master's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in ELA in 2009, both from UAB. My husband and I have lived on the Gulf Coast for 5 years, and we have three amazing children together. In my free time, I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels, knitting, and spending time in nature.
