Bio

I began teaching in the fall of 2002 and MGM was my first teaching position. I received my Bachelors Degree in Comprehensive Science Education in 2002 and M. Ed in 2018 from the University of South Alabama. I received my Principles of Biomedical Sciences, Project Lead The Way, certification from Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis in 2013. I am a 1982 graduate of MGM and I worked at Springhill Hospital for 18 years before I began teaching in 2002. In my spare time I am traveling, planning my next trip, or reminiscing about a past trip. One of my favorite trips is taking students to Europe. Where do you want to go? Snow skiing is also one of my favorite trips, usually somewhere in the Colorado Rockies. When I am not doing something with travel, cooking and time with family is usually on my agenda, or singing in my church choir.
