Thirty-five choir students attended a Broadway touring production of Wicked on February 28 at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) in Birmingham. The students were able to see professional musicians and actors performing in their element. Each of those performers had their start in a school music program just like the one here at Mary G. Montgomery. The performance was high energy, high class and a pristine example of music education at work.
